Deli Inspirations


Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding

Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding
Ingredients:
  • 30-40 lady fingers
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 (5 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream
Directions:
  1. Line the bottom of a 9×14 by 2 inch dish with lady fingers and layer bananas on top.
  2. In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer.
  3. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended.
  4. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining lady fingers.
  5. Refrigerate for at least a couple hours before serving.

WHITE BORDEAUX AND CRAB LASAGNA!




Crab Lasagna - Delish! 

Ingredients:
Lasagna Noodles- cook and drain
Lump Crab Meat

Mix together:
1 can cream of shrimp or mushroom soup
1 package cream cheese
1 pt. ricotta
1 egg
3/4 cup green onions
1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp pepper or lemon pepper


3-4 sliced tomatoes
1 cup grated cheese

Simply layer noodles, cheese mixture, crab, tomato and cheese.  Repaeat layering until ingredients are
done.  Bake 1 hour @ 350.

Serve with crispy salad, crunchy bread and wine!

Fresh Cherry Margarita










FRESH CHERRY MARGARITAS



Ingredients:
12 fresh sweet cherries, pitted
2 1/2 tbsp Campo Azul Tequila Silver
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 1/2 tbsp. (or more) Ready Rabbit Simple Syrup
1 tbsp. Luxardo Cherry Liqueur

Directions:
Put cherries in a cocktail shaker.  Mash them with a muddler or end of a wooden spoon until
well crushed, about 1 minute.  Add the tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and 8 large ice cubes.
Cover the shaker shake for 30 seconds.  Immediately starin into an ice filled glass.  Gernish with 
the fresh cherry.

Cool summertime treat!
