Yummy Cocktails!


  • Harvest Moon 

1 1/2 oz Ivanabitch Vodka
1/2 oz Dry vermouth
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz Spiced mead reduction (2:1 mead/ sugar simmered with 2 cloves, pinch of fresh gingercinnamon stick, 2 allspice berries and a star anise)
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 dash Bar Code Baked Apple Bitters
1 1/2 oz dry Granny Smith fermented apple cider (ex: Woodchuck)
figs baked on a low setting with crushed pecans

Prepare figs and allow them to cool. Once cool, muddle three baked figs with Finlandia vodka. Add dry vermouth, lemon juice, spiced mead reduction, and bitters. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Top with Fermented apple cider, stir to mix in and garnish with a half sliced fig, lemon slice, "fanned" granny smith apple slice.


Christmas Mead

1 bottle Mead
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 slice of a sweet orange
8 whole cloves
4 sticks of cinnamon
1 whole nutmeg split in four

Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a low simmering heat. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Serve garnished with a couple of the cloves, orange slice and cinnamon stick. Makes an exceptional replacement for eggnog gathered with friends around a warm fire.
